should be

With the new player, it does not seem to work: Using

to embed a video on a website, the playback starts automatically. Is it a bug?

That doesn't seem to work either. There's definitely some bug in the new (otherwise beautiful) player.

I've been having the same problem. I found "autoplay" in two places and set them both to "false." Is there maybe a third setting I missed?

I've been using the various Archive.org players for a year now, and there is definitely not another "autoplay" option. this is a serious bug

I've been embedding films in Blogger (at ontheotherfoot.blogspot.com) and the last couple of times I've embedded something I've had this problem. I went back to a post from December which used the earlier player, changed the URL, and reposted. That one still works fine.

I can post the code I used for it, if it will make things any easier for someone else (and if someone can tell me how to keep the code from disappearing in the post).
